Common questions
How do I log a film or show?
Tap the + tab, search for the title, then choose Watched or add a rating and review. For shows, you can log a single episode from the show's page.
What's the difference between my feed and Explore?
Your home feed shows logs and reviews from people you follow. Explore is public: thoughts, hot takes, reviews, critiques and discussions from everyone on 35mm. You can filter Explore by a film or show.
Can I edit or delete a post?
Yes. On an Explore post, tap ••• and choose Edit post or Delete post. Edited posts show an "edited" label. To change a log or review, open the film's page and tap Edit under your review.
Why can't I comment on a hot take or critique?
Hot takes, reviews and critiques are someone's stated opinion, so they take votes or likes instead of comments. Thoughts and discussions are open for conversation.
How do I report a post?
Tap ••• on an Explore post and choose Report. Reported posts are hidden from you right away, and we review every report.
How do I block someone?
Tap ••• on their profile or on one of their Explore posts and choose Block. You won't see each other's profiles, posts or comments, and any follow between you ends. They aren't told. To unblock, go to your profile, tap the gear, then Blocked accounts.
How do I change my profile or favorites?
Go to your profile and tap Edit profile. Top 3 and favorite actors and directors each have their own Edit button on the profile.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your profile, tap the gear, then Delete account and type your username to confirm. Your account and all of its data are deleted straight away. If you can't sign in, email support@35mm.contact from the address you signed up with. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Where does the film information come from?
Film and show details and artwork come from The Movie Database (TMDB). If something is wrong, it can be corrected on themoviedb.org and will update in 35mm.
